South Downs National Park
Hamilton-Baillie Associates prepared guidance for future investment and management in the highway network of the South Downs National Park. Titled “Roads in the South Downs”, the guide sets out the principles for context-sensitive design and management of towns, villages and rural roads across the National Park.
It serves as a guide both for the four main highway authorities, and for communities concerned about the quality and safety of streets, rural roads, and public spaces.
