Ashton-under-Lyne

As part of the “Vision Tameside” regeneration of Ashton-under-Lyne, Tameside MBC have commissioned Hamilton-Baillie Associates and Planit-IE to prepare initial proposals for the busy and complex junction dividing the railway station from the Town Centre.

The existing inner ring-road creates a significant barrier for pedestrians and cyclists, and constrains the towns regeneration from attracting public transport users and residents to the north.
