The first phase of the transformation of Fishergate and the surroundings of Preston Railway Station and Commercial Road has won the Chartered Institute for Highways & Transportation (CIHT)’s annual Clutter Reduction Award.
Commissioned by Lancashire County Council, the scheme was designed by Hamilton-Baillie Associates and Planit-IE. The second phase has recently been completed, and a third phase is in preparation for the University area.
